McPherson's has an established foothold in Asia.  

Our Singapore operation acts as the hub of our Asian business.  The Singapore Office is a fully integrated warehousing, distribution, sales and marketing company.

The Singapore Office was established in August 1999 when McPherson's International acquired the former trading arm of Guardian Pharmacy, Accord Marketing Services (AMS).  In the past, AMS use to handle a large proportion of 3rd party principal brands.  Today 3rd  party business still represents a large proportion of the Singapore sales but with the addition of global brands from the Mcpherson's stable such as Manicare, Lady Jayne and Home Living.

The Singapore Office provides a total solution to its principals, offering focussed marketing and distribution solutions for them and their products.  The warehouse facility is sophisticated and is located in the same building as the sales, marketing and finance office. Inventory is IT tracked.  A specialised system is used for receiving, picking and delivering products to market as well as the tracking of both inventory and sales.

The Singapore Office's coverage of the market is serviced by a fleet of contract delivery vans with a turnaround time of 24 hours.  The customers covered directly include pharmacies (both retail and hospital), personal care stores, optical stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets, department stores and convenience stores.

Whilst own-brand business development is a key focus for the Singapore Office there is the opportunity to tap into the McPherson's Asia regional business network through an alliance.
