McPherson's recognises the consumers demand for innovative and new products on a regular basis from within our brands.
We actively seek new products, product enhancements and new categories to introduce to the McPherson's portfolio on a continual basis.  Our marketing teams from across the region work with dedicated professionals at our in-house sourcing office located in the Kowloon region of Hong Kong.

Currently the office sources some 1600 – 2000 items per year predominantly coming from within the Asian region. 
A wide variety of items are sourced through the Hong Kong office; hair accessories, nail & beauty treatments, implements and accessories, household goods, baby-ware, party items, haberdashery, travel goods, and even pet toys and equipment.

The Hong Kong sourcing office was started in 1996 and has grown to a team of 20 staff comprising merchandising, quality control / quality assurance, logistics and operations, with a further x5 quality controllers located in Southern China.   The staff speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin, allowing for close communication with all vendors in the region.

The main function of the office is to work closely with the supply base to develop and or source new products whilst ensuring that the price, delivery and quality targets are met.
